However, if you were planning to get the game on the Nintendo Switch 2 you will have to wait a while longer as Gearbox has confirmed that Borderlands 4 will not be available on Nintendo Switch 2 on 12th September. The official website says Borderlands 4 for the Nintendo Switch 2 will be available later in 2025. When will Borderlands 4 be released? Borderlands 4 is launching on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 12, 2025!
