This is, unsurprisingly, a topic that was bound to come up with the launch of the Switch 2 being less than 2 months away. Sure enough, GameSpot has asked Nintendo about the matter. According to Nintendo's Takuhiro Dohta, "we don't want anybody to be at risk of any unwanted consumption. We have indeed made it so that if it enters your mouth, you'll spit it out". Dohta also recommends that people do not lick them. Meanwhile, Nintendo's Kouichi Kawamoto said that "when the Nintendo Switch was being developed, I did lick it once, but never again.
