Despite lots of games being released, including Switch games, there has been just as many employees that were let go. Many studios have also been closed. So, it's not surprising that there has been some worries from fans that Nintendo may go down a similar path. So far, that hasn't really happened. Nevertheless, rumors that Nintendo was laying off employees from Mario Club Co., Ltd, a Nintendo subsidiary, didn't help matters. Fortunately, the company has put those rumors to rest. A spokesperson for Nintendo recently sent a comment to Eurogamer, where they say that "we have confirmed with Mario Club Co., Ltd. that the rumored information in the report is untrue". Source | | | |
