While sales of Pokemon Legends Z-A were not as big as some of The Pokemon Company's other releases in Europe, Pokemon Legends Z-A had a massive launch in the United States. Mat Piscatella of US sales tracking firm Circana has said that launch week physical unit and dollar sales of Pokemon Legends: Z-A were the biggest for a new physical video game launch since The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for the Nintendo Switch back in May 2023.
