Nintendo has announced that Switch user profile icons featuring classic consoles and controllers are being released for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. The first wave of icons are available starting today until 27th May 2025, with two more waves rolling out over the coming weeks. If you're interested in the Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo GameCube icons, an NSO Expansion Pack membership is required.

For those who don't know, icons for Nintendo Switch are fully customizable with boarders and backgrounds, which can be purchased using Platinum Points that are earned for free by completing various My Nintendo missions. These can be accessed from the Nintendo Switch Online menu option on the Switch home screen.
