Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was so successful that a sequel is currently in the works, 5 years after the original game released on multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. However, that doesn't mean that Ritual of the Night has been forgotten. In fact, even now, the game is still being officially supported with updates.
For example, it has been announced on official Bloodstained Ritual of the Night social media that the game will be getting updated to version 1.6 next week. Not only that, but next week's update, which will be mainly for fixing bugs and crashes, will be coming for all platforms. You can see the official social media announcement post about the matter down below.
Update 1.6 on all platforms arrives Oct 22 - 3pm UTC / 4pm BST / 5pm CET / 8am PDT / 11pm HKT / 12:01am JST (next day)
This update fixes bugs including: Store soft lock, Classic Mode slow loads and the Nintendo Switch Glacial Tomb crash.
