Headlines International travelers no longer need negative tests to enter the US (CNBC) As of this past weekend, air travelers entering the US from abroad don't need to show proof of a negative Covid test before boarding their flights. This policy change comes after countries like the UK have gotten rid of their testing requirements, and after much urging from the travel industry, which has been hit particularly hard by the pandemic. According to the White House, the CDC will reassess this decision in 90 days and reimpose restrictions if necessary. FDA reviewers say there are effective Covid shots for kids under 6 (Politico) The FDA said that Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech's vaccines for babies and young children are safe and effective, according to briefing documents posted online in advance of the agency's vaccine advisors' meetings later this week. There, experts will vote on whether to recommend that the agency issue emergency use authorizations for the two vaccines. But that number doesn't count people who may have died as a result of the city's restrictions. Recently, several projects attempting to document deaths linked to lockdown have emerged, despite China's attempts to censor opposition to its pandemic strategy. | |
