Nintendo has decided to treat Nintendo Switch Online subscribers to a sampling of the soundtrack for the recently announced Star Fox game on the Nintendo Switch 2. This special release contains ten tracks for your listening pleasure ahead of the game’s release on 25th June. The Nintendo Music app for iOS and Android also has the Lylat Wars (European name for Star Fox 64) soundtrack which offers a total of 39 tracks.

Leaker NateTheHate, who correctly revealed that Nintendo was working on a Star Fox game, has said on X that he won’t give exact dates next time after getting the announcement timing wrong. Nate’s source told him that the extended remake of Star Fox 64 would be announced at the end of April. He was only a few days off, but is now more cautious about revealing exact dates going forwards as plans simply change.
