Bethesda has confirmed that the Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition which launched yesterday on the Nintendo Switch 2 will eventually get DLSS. DLSS is a form of upscaling which should come in handy for those of you playing the game in the 60fps performance mode, making the visuals look that little bit better. Bethesda hasn't committed to a release date for DLSS in Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition but it's simply a feature coming in the future along with additional stability improvements.

Video game journalist Jeff Grubb has shared an interesting tidbit in the latest episode of Game Mess Decides. Sony apparently had Gran Turismo up and running on the Nintendo Switch 2. It is not clear why the team at PlayStation Studios decided to pursue the project, though it might be related to the fact that they supposedly have a powerful handheld system in development alongside the PlayStation 6 and thought it would be an interesting project to pursue. It is very similar to Epic Games who once developed a working build of Xbox 360 game Gears of War 3 on the then new PlayStation 3 console.

The hit card game Balatro now has a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition which is rather handily a free upgrade for existing owners and can be downloaded via the Nintendo eShop. It is not clear what's changed, but presumably it bumps the framerate up to a silky smooth 60fps, as it was 30fps on Nintendo Switch. Balatro Nintendo Switch 2 Edition also includes mouse controls, which by all accounts are well implemented.
