Known leaker Nate The Hate has supplied more information about the upcoming Nintendo Direct presentation and says that the one that's rumoured for next week is not a main Nintendo Direct, but is instead a Partner Showcase. This is when third party developers showcase what they have been working on for the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo has yet to announce a new Nintendo Direct or a Partner Showcase.

Nintendo has said that the image which was used by Walmart and showed Metroid Prime 2 Echoes and Pikmin 2 as part of the Nintendo Classics GameCube range was incorrect, stating that those games "are not planned for release at this time." It's unclear when they are planned for release, but as always we will be certain to let you know.
"We recently provided a retailer with an image of Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics titles that incorrectly included games that are not planned for release at this time. The image has been removed, and we apologize for any confusion."
