The animated video which Nintendo released yesterday which was titled Close to You has now been revealed by Nintendo to be tied in with the Pikmin franchise. The Kyoto-based company has released an alternate version on Nintendo Today which features the different Pikmin who were previously hidden. It seems likely that we will start to see more animated shorts for the Pikmin series from Nintendo Pictures.
