Other competitors such as Capcom's Street Fighter 6 and Bandai Namco's Tekken 8 have sold five million and three million respectively. NeatherRealm Studios previously said that there will no longer be any new content coming to Mortal Kombat 1, which went down rather badly with fans of the franchise and owners of the game.
