If you are unaware, one dutiful employee decided to staple customer receipts to the front of the Nintendo Switch 2 box, which is very thin cardboard on the top area which unfolds. The aforementioned stapler then punctured the Nintendo Switch 2 screen as the actual console unit is located directly below the fold. It probably wasn't the best idea in hindsight. Anyway, GameStop is auctioning off that dreaded stapler and the staples for charity and the money will go to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. So it's for a very good cause. The stapler auction is currently at $16,900 as of the time of writing this post. | | | |
