Layden agrees that Nintendo made a wise decision naming the Switch 2 and the praise for the Kyoto-based company doesn't stop there as Mr. Layden gushed about the "respect" that Nintendo invokes when it comes to video games and says that he believes "they will continue to be successful." "They've [Nintendo] created so much brand value in the word Switch, why would you mess with that?" "Everyone respects Nintendo, they're a competitor but you respect everything they've done to create this industry that now we all enjoy and love, so I think they'll keep on keeping on and the way they do it, they've got the right people around it, the right attitude around it."
