INC. THIS MORNING This 15-minute video game promises to fix your hiring problem Note: Kevin J. Ryan, staff writer at Inc., is stepping in for Cameron while he is away from the computer today.  Good morning,  Last year, the pandemic-induced recession eliminated an estimated 30 million American jobs and social upheaval following the death of George Floyd led to mass protests--concurrent events that forced countless companies to rethink their hiring practices.  Angela Antony might not have known the form it would take, but she predicted that a reckoning was coming to the labor market back in 2015 when she started building Scoutible. The startup makes a video game that promises to measure a job candidate’s traits and skills--from leadership and learning style to pattern recognition. Scoutible aims to eliminate many of the biases inherent to interviews and resumes and help companies find the best new hires based on more objective criteria. Scoutible, which has funding from Mark Cuban, launched its platform to the public this week.
